what is peptide therapy?
2
Peptide therapy is the use of peptides to stimulate a specific therapeutic effect in the body. Peptides can either turn cell functions on or off, affecting production of proteins, hormones, cell to cell communication and signaling, or even cellular regeneration or cell death. Most peptides are administered through subcutaneous (under the skin) injections, however there are a handful of peptides that can also be taken orally as capsules, applied topically as creams, or sprayed into the nose for direct entry into the brain!
